Power is slowly coming back on to parts of Calabasas. No word yet from SCE as to what caused this morning’s outage. At its height, it affected nearly 200 customers, but some of those customers were big ones; including the Commons, Courtyard and the Civic Center.

SCE now says the outage affects 179 customers and power should be back on in about an hour. Some of those customers are major: The Commons as well as the Civic Center. No word what caused the outage.

Two all day weekday planned power outages in the next week. @socaledison is terrible. We’ve had a dozen multiple hour unplanned outages in the last year. We both work from home. We’ve invested in backup batteries but SCE outages seem to trigger Spectrum outages too.
