Without gaming of some type, most people find their computers useless if their ISP is down. We had a great time on our PC's before the AOL era started.

Tech skills aren’t as hard as you think. Even in 2025, AOL was still paying folks to support dial-up before shutting it down. Learn a little daily, focus on 1 lane, and in 6 months you could be employable. If you don’t give yourself a shot, you’ll never have one.
