Hello @bchydro how can we report a power outage via phone if we don't have an account? My hydro is included in my rent.

Get a text from a friend asking if my power is out. I check @bchydro outage map, it says my power is out. I rush home to connect my dad’s oxygen concentrator to my neighbours house with the generator so he can breathe & find my whole block has power despite BC Hydros website.

BC Hydro has planned a power outage for Sunday, the 14th. I won't be online. Enjoy your day. ❤️

Bc hydro outage hope

Seems there is a power outage in Kitsilano- Macdonald and West 4th are. I saw two new poles lying in my area yesterday. According to @bchydro, crews are working on it. If this was planned, a heads up would have been nice. No shower, no coffee. #vanpoli

So I just discovered that the fastest way to navigate @bchydro's telephone IVR and reach a human when reporting an outage ... is to repeatedly quack like a duck, then press 0 after it drops out to the main menu. I wish I was making this up.

While there is a local power outage, @KamloopsAirport operations continue while @bchydro works to resolve the issue. All critical systems at #YKA are on back up power which ensures continuity in a power outage. We encourage passengers to monitor their flight status for any delay.
