One thing I noticed about the next gen update of Fallout 4 is that the game still lags on PC when Godrays are set to Ultra. You'll have to use a mod to fix this and it'll run smoothly. However, I will say this... I think I'm now able to play in Boston city with the shadow...

When I said my next-gen Fallout 4 experience was "mostly good," my biggest problem was pausing the game. It takes longer for the pause to happen. My game froze once when I pressed the button, and it even crashed when I tried to close it then. #PS5Share #Fallout4

It's crazy that a 2024 "next-gen" update still doesn't fix the fact you can't play above 60 fps without the game completely breaking, DESPITE THE FACT THERE IS A MOD FROM 2020 FIXING IT! #Fallout
As expected the PC "Next Gen" update for Fallout 4 is not next gen at all. No actual upgrades in visuals, widescreen support is broken, and the crash bug for every RTX card owner persists. The incompetence from @BethesdaStudios is not surprising. They should be ashamed and shamed
Fallout 4 update has some issues. When under a bridge or inside a building, there’s a strange darkness / brightness glitch. The launchers also show up as giant red ! marks and are invisible once picked up. @Fallout @BethesdaStudios @bethesda #Fallout4 #Fallout #bugs #glitch

I love most of the fallout games (not 76) but NV is hands down the best one without a doubt
Fallout 4 fans on next gen - I can confirm that only the 60fps 'performance mode' works right now. The update has a bug. Disabling the performance mode seemingly does nothing. It stays at 60fps and the res bound stays the same.
This next gen update for Fallout 4 is incredible, I played for six hours straight last week with zero issues, but with this amazing new update high res textures fail to load in and the game crashes to desktop within 5 minutes. Incredible work by @BethesdaStudios yet again.
