I don’t know is this is the drivers fault or Ubers fault but why doesn’t the drivers license plate match up what is displayed in the app when being picked up? Also still facing the same issue of drivers taking off and driving before I put my seatbelt on. @Uber @Uber_Support

TIL: @Uber's app is well and truly awful. If there is an issue with the app, there is no way to actually get any support or assistance. My app immediately flips me to the "Get a ride" page, skipping the "main" page - meaning other than getting a ride, I can do nothing. smh.

no uber does not ask you to verify your identity regularly, they only ask when you go on and offline quickly like for instance when you are driving lyft and turning uber on and off between the other apps rides
