Is Barclays UK down? ❌

So 45 minutes on hold to @BarclaysUKHelp and no ones picking up, so during the issues with online banking being down, we were allowed to withdraw more money but now we are forced to pay it back, despite multiple call they wont agree to a payment plan, so I have to pay £146,

WOW 🇬🇧🚨 Two week ago, Barclays had an outage over the entire weekend, and today I found out they bought Bitcoin. What a rollercoaster!

Was having issues with the Barclays app yday so I came in here to see if service was down again, only to see that people received compensation for the last Barclays issue. I never knew! This is why I won’t delete this app because me too I need reparations.

Hello @BarclaysUK / @BarclaysUKHelp , this is day 7 now , awaiting for proceeds on a securities trade that should have been done in one day. in the past 48 hrs have been told 8 times over the phone that it will get done immediately after putting phone down. Nothing done.

Barclays UK paying customers £100-150 as compensation for the inconvenience over the weekend. (Read as: app services were down) What a wonder! I’m looking at my banks sideways, esp the one that’s down every weekend like clockwork

Barclays app was down the other day and everything is slow today. Greggs app, Toolstation app, Google pay, card in cashpoint, all at a snail's pace. I reckon it's the Russians again. Wouldn't be like this if we rejoined the EU, or if Harris had beaten Trump.

There are too many companies that have customer support as a paid extra. Many already ditched human telephone support. This even includes banks, which now not only can't be bothered to speak to clients by phone, but also shut down local branches and ATM's. @Barclays @LloydsBank

Has anyone else found @BarclaysUKHelp @BarclaysUK customer service regarding the outage absolutely appalling? Tried to ask for compensation after being left without food and unable to pay my bills and was basically told I was lying about everything.

Lloyds, Barclays, and Halifax have all experienced outages, preventing customers from accessing their funds or making essential payments. Are we expected to accept this as merely an 'IT outage'?

So the Lloyds and Halifax banking app is down today, Barclays was down yesterday, does anyone else think this is strange? And a cash machine that was giving out free money yesterday!

Barclays has done a great job with their app over the years but services being down for the best part of three days is pretty horrendous. Will be interesting to see what the cause was (if an explanation is forthcoming) but would think this was an alert-the-FCA-level incident.
