Is there any compensation for the nearly 24-hour internet outage? Also, when can we expect it to be resolved? Thank you. @VirginMediaIE

The original estimate was 22:00 last night. Probably beyond time for a more detailed response by @VirginMediaIE stating the extent of the outage.

A 15 hour outage affecting broadband, phone and TV in the Cork area and this is all @VirginMediaIE have to say. And of course, they have blocked all comments on their post. What an appalling service!

So folks there's @VirginMediaIE fault in the area so the credit card machine is down......

Hey @VirginMediaIE Internet has been down in Cork city center for at least 6 hours.

Not sure what happened in the last 5 years, but there was no text notifications. @VirginMediaIE Internet still down. I get that 18:00 on a Friday is a bad time for it to happen, but CS were there until 21:00 and did nothing but reply to individual tweets.

.@VirginMediaIE down again for us in D12 all eve. Was down last night too before coming back. Recently lost service for 3 was, they were v unhelpful. Wonder if anyone else is experiencing this locally? Their website claims the service here is good, but it may be weather-related.

Hey @VirginMediaIE I've had no Internet for over 9 days now. Your agents refuse to book me an engineer. Your live chat told me the issue was with the modem. I plugged in the new modem and I'm still getting red error lights.

.@VirginMediaIE, is there a problem with your app? Keeps producing ‘turn on TV 360 box’ message, despite it being on (& diagnostic check showing it is connected to the net). It does play live broadcasts, but no recording related functions will connect (on any device). #Dublin
