Ongoing ChatGPT web problems over the last 48 hours. “Could not load this ChatGPT conversation” became so frequent on Oct 2 that almost every chat was affected. It eased somewhat but never stopped. This morning it has worsened again and is now happening roughly every 2nd or 3rd chat. “Resume stream unavailable” has also returned. During the loading failures, ChatGPT conversation requests were returning 429 Too Many Requests, while other ChatGPT requests were still succeeding. OpenAI Support said they shipped a web fix for slow/interrupted Work chat loads, but later clarified that the fix does not cover “Too many requests” errors or Cloud Work execution. So whatever improved temporarily, the underlying problem I'm experiencing is clearly still ongoing. OpenAI Status currently isn't showing a corresponding Conversations/Work outage.
