Is Google Drive down? ❌

my drive is down but the file is too big to load to google drive bc my gd limit is 15gb and the special live is like 6-7gb, please just wait til it's done throttling since YT blocked it.

anybody else having major issues with @googledrive - since December files are disappearing from the computer and online.. the uploader is constantly having issues.. I'm now looking for an alternative as its too unreliable and hampering projects with clients....

I have been facing an issue where my model size was large, so I tracked it using dvc. Now I want to use it directly from a cloud platform so I pushed the model to google drive. But how can I use it directly from google drive without downloading ? and If not than any other place ?

I had to emergency factory reset my phone, missing a lot of work I had there, including storyboards and research for ADfN. I swear I'll work with google drive now, has been a very rough week trying to fix my phone and such 🫠

Okay can the Dropbox CEO fix the dogshit syncing speed of their app? It's awful. Google Drive is maxxing out my ISP up and down WHILE trying to add a shared dropbox folder to my team's account (CLUNKY LAGGY MESS) and THEN syncing it is a whole ******* ordeal. SLOW AND RET*RDED.

A device reset shouldn't be such a problem as you only need to reinstall apps. Your photos documents and music should be backed up to an end-to-end encrypted cloud drive. I use and recommend @Sync and @ProtonDrive Avoid using Google drive for privacy reasons!

Has anyone ever had issues where a python @pygame_org app built with #pyinstaller would work after being built, but once uploaded to @googledrive (and subsequently downloaded), the file would be damaged? Intel Mac build source/destination, Python 3.11. Windows and ARM mac are ok.
