Well done the @virginmedia Twitter Team for sorting out the problem. Outage closed. New contract in place and speed increased. Couldn't ask for better service after my earlier phone call disappointment.

For the past fortnight my @virginmedia gigabyte connection has done nothing but intermittently drop. The online help page is pointing to an issue with the router, so doing a massive reset of it. Fingers crossed this fixes the issues, but I never had these problems before

This is getting annoying now 🤬 For 3 days in a row, multiple times a day, our @virginmedia broadband keeps turning off 🤬 Try and call, get something about "intermittent problems", told to reset everything - then several hours later it goes off again 🤬

So no internet issues with @virginmedia for a few months and now we just recontract (as we have no other option) and internet goes down yet again. No way of reporting outage as according to their site everything is fine.

So you pay @virginmedia for internet/wifi and because the wifi doesn't reach one of my rooms they want £8 a month for a pod to fix the problem! 😡🤬😡 #RipOff

@virginmedia any particular reason my wifi has decided to just randomly cut the internet off at 2am? I was in the middle of something. Not the first time it’s happened. Just because it’s off-peak doesn’t mean people aren’t using it.

Got Life Connect for dad. He’s with Virgin Media and doesn’t have an ADSL box. Couldn’t get phone line and LC box connected at same time. Called customer support, who sent a cable to fix this. Duplicate of one we already had. Called cs again. ‘Plug the phone into LC box’ 🙄

You need to fix this @virginmedia - I had to go to the office as unable to work from home with no internet. This costs both time and money... 😡

2) The fix time is back to the usual 7.04pm but with no one in the vicinity it is hard to have faith that @virginmedia will indeed have the broadband back up and running today. Engineers say faults in the area, voice message says upgrades. They can't even decide what to blame

Anyone else noticed any issues connecting to certain AWS hosted services since last night on @virginmedia? For example FlightRadar24 site loads but no planes display. It seems to use this data feed hosted on AWS and times out after hitting the first VM core hop.

6th significant broadband outage in the last 10 days .@virginmedia it would be useful to know if underlying problem has been identified and whether you have a plan to resolve it.

I’ve made such a big mistake switching from Sky to @virginmedia, not even had Virgin Broadband installed a month and already had connection issues more than once. Took 1 hour and three customer service agents to tell me there is an outage in my area today! Bad bad bad service!

The ongoing awful broadband service from Virgin Media continues. Day 11 of having a fault they will fix by 7.04pm, service comes back before the day is over then goes again the next day. Rinse and repeat . Nice way to avoid compensation payments by pretending each fault is new

Hi @virginmedia we’ve been experiencing internet outages for weeks, keep being told a technician will come but they’re then cancelled as it’s an ‘area problem’ that’s being fixed.. and supposedly has been fixed.. but still zero internet! £70 a month for nothing 🫠 please help
