Hey @Uber, @Uber_Support why is it so hard to create a support ticket for an issue? My issue isn't specifically one of your rigid categories so I tried choosing the closest topic. It got closed out and there's no way to continue the conversation with your support agent.

I'm in downtown DC, I called my first @lyft at 8:12 pm. It's currently 8:59 pm. And it's still searching. Uber let me down too. Talked to my girl and she was on reddit. Apparently this has been happening to riders frequently. What is going on? I'm just trying to get home.

TIL: @Uber's app is well and truly awful. If there is an issue with the app, there is no way to actually get any support or assistance. My app immediately flips me to the "Get a ride" page, skipping the "main" page - meaning other than getting a ride, I can do nothing. smh.

no uber does not ask you to verify your identity regularly, they only ask when you go on and offline quickly like for instance when you are driving lyft and turning uber on and off between the other apps rides

It has been over four days now. Still no solution provided by Uber. You need to fix your faulty billing system instead of harassing customers.

I've had to switch between public transportation and ride-hail services in the DMV recently and @lyft is so much more reliable than Uber. Uber's customer service is just as crappy as its app. Estimates are often wrong, drivers cancel randomly. Never had issues with Lyft.
