Just experienced my 21st power outage this year at my house thanks to @DukeEnergy refusing every request we've made in my area to fix their broken grid. But we're a poor, predominantly minority area so I guess we don't matter.

Duke Energy says power has been restored in Southend Charlotte, along the 2300-block of South Boulevard. Duke says the outage this afternoon was caused by an object that came in contact with a power line. Approx. 4479 customers were impacted for several hours.
