Welp our company is having an nation wide outage so since we can’t take any calls let me start filing some of my clients taxes so when the IRS open on the 27th I can just push them through

Hey @DOGE and @elonmusk The IRS website to apply for a new EIN is down for planned maintenance. That's fairly normal, but I think a planned outage from 3pm December 27th to 7am January 2nd seems a bit outrageous. Must be really outdated software!

Sometimes I can feel a lil down on myself but when that happens I remember someone literally is waking up and going to work for the IRS and I realize I'm doing fine

Came down 2 hours to IRS assistance office; the IRS people also don’t know what the form is asking for; so much room for interpretation… on what supporting documents require; it just can’t include unique situations like ours.

Let me tell you how smart the people working at the IRS are, they complain often that they can't connect to some of their servers. When checked the servers are turned off. when they need to log in remotely they choose shut down instead of log out and then complain later.
