How will I read all my messages that have gone down like this? Whatsapp scares me

Weird question but is there any way to hack into my own WhatsApp account? My phone is not working so trying to login through WhatsApp web but it makes me either scan a qr code or enter a code in app both of which are not possible currently. Please help #Technology #WHATSAPP
