Hey @Afrihost internet just went down. Openserve backbone in Durban/Durban North area

I had an internet outage, which actually turned out to be something of an area outage. @OpenserveZA was so good with their support and updates. Sorry but I was shocked. @Afrihost was quite awful. The customer care centre was unhelpful. Worst service ever and I have low standards.

Is it just me or is the service with @Afrihost getting ridiculous? I’ve been waiting for feedback on my fiber line which is down since Sunday. In 2025? What type of service is this? I am being sent from pillar to post for a service that I pay for.

Second massive outage in less than a month. Their communication sucks. Time to dump @Afrihost, first thing tomorrow I will be looking for another provider.

Hey @Afrihost and @vumatel your service is atrocious. My Internet has been down for 4 days and all you guys can say "we have to escalated the ticket to the service manager at Vumatel". How about an ETR, how about providing feedback? How about providing service?

If you are on Afrihost fiber and your internet is down due to the DHCP problem, you can set a static IP address and it will work 👍

Woke up to my wifi not working. Yho sana Afrihost is the ghetto. And I subject myself to them all the time because when they work, they work.
