Is BT British Telecom down? ❌

ANOTHER outage this morning, 4 hours and counting. Radio silence from @Plusnet on my previous query (Ticket: 241287619). Perhaps @bt_uk can shed some light on this ongoing issue? Or is it time to go to @ofcom?

Had @bt_uk working outside of the house this morning 2 vans doing something with the cables and they have now left and there is a fault in my broadband what a **** show this company is come to do 1 thing and create another problem for people

@bt_uk service down @ee service down Please advise on areas impacted, root cause of issue and expected time to resume service back to normal

3/ service down from 66 Mb to 33 Mb for £59.99 a month and unlimited calls for £12.00 a month, total of £71.99 a month... with a new 24 month contract. My parents' current BT contract runs until Jan 25 and so they are looking at dumping BT for a new provider at that point.

Wow @WeAreOpenreach engineers been to my house today to upgrade my BT internet to fibre, not at my request, came at 11, still no internet, now being told they can’t send anyone until 21st! My internet was fine! Disgusted doesn’t cover it! #bt #openreach

Hey @StanChart @StanChartHelpIN @StanChartIN I just found that my credit card payment was due yesterday bt due to some medical issue I was unable to do so, hwevr I have just made payment n the delay not done intentionally, kindly plz confirm the same & don't charge any late fee

BT broadband down until 7pm my way...that would have been my day stuffed if this happened yesterday!

Just renewed my Broadband, goodbye BT, Hello New EE, I know, same company but got a brand new EE Smart Hub & Wi - Fi extender. Same speed 900mb down, have to wait a while before I switch to EE tv & mobile due to other contracts still running.

Hey @bt_uk @SkyHelpTeam had fiber installed by open reach an came back to an a cable attached to the centre of my house. Just so it's nice and easy to run the cable down. It could of been attached to the left or right!?!? Unacceptable and the chat bots are most unhelpful.

Big Day… so @bt_uk and @WeAreOpenreach 10 days ago you engineer cut our telephone/internet line and left, then did nothing! today is the deadline you set to fix it… Are you going to fix it? We need internet to work from home…

Huzzah ... @BT email is finally back online. A pretty irritating and inconvenient outage of more than half a day.

Absolutely disgusted with the customer service from @bt_uk we’ve had no internet for the last 4 days!! After saying they have arranged to post out dongles for us - nothing has arrived! Terrible! Pay over the odds and you get nothing for it! Time to switch providers!!!!

A week without internet because @bt_uk & @WeAreOpenreach really don’t know what they are doing… cannot work and earn a living, heating system not working. If there is ever an example of people who genuinely don’t care it’s the Openreach engineer who cut the cable and ran off…

BT are... awful... Did all the checks when the INTERNET was lost.. Definitely a hardware problem apparently.. 4 days later Hardware Engineer turns up.... No its definitely a line issue.. Honestly.. #Clowns

Real **** Show with BT.. I've been with them for years.. lost all INTERNET connection last Wednesday. The dreaded B.O.T sent a temporary mini Hub out as emergency 24 hr response.. It's now Monday evening & nothing has appeared. Engineer cannot fix, waiting for OPEN REACH..

Yet again I can’t call out on my landline #BT can’t fix it & don’t know what’s wrong or when it will be fixed. Warning if you have a landline & are asked to swap to digital voice it’s not working properly, resist, don’t swap as once you have they can’t or won’t swap you back
