iPhone users are seeing a bug in iOS 17.5 that resurfaces photos deleted years ago.

UPDATE: Apple told me it has fixed an issue that may have briefly disabled the "Allow Apps to Request to Track" setting for some iPhone users on iOS 14 and above. All affected users will see their previously-selected settings be restored over the next few days.

So I’ve recently updated my phone to the new iOS, and my autocorrect is SO incredibly OFF. It’s adding words that I never wrote and changing words to different ones that don’t even make sense. Anyone else having this problem?

PSA: Major iOS bug causing old and deleted photos to reappear, even on some devices no longer in the owners possession. Bug appears to be on iPhone and iPad devices.

I can sense iOS 17.5.1 coming out real soon to fix this 😬

The thing I most hate about the iOS app of @browsercompany is when you swipe down and it closes the tab you were in … this sucks when I’m scrolling some feeds such as twitter (I’m never calling this by the new name).

This was caused by a handful of videos I “deleted” in 2017. Similar to the recent iOS 17.5 bug, I’m not sure how or why these were still around but inaccessible.

Update to the three things you can always count on : death, taxes, and your iPhone battery draining 10x faster after any iOS update until they issue several fixes and patches.

If this is iOS 17.5 then the biggest update of Apple the iOS 18 will have the major issues for sure. But this is really wierd in which users photo gets deleted instantly. Anyway, Apple will fix this soon. #iOSProblems #iOSBugs #Bug #iPhone #iOS17 #iOS18 #iOSFails
