Is PlayStation Network down? ❌

PlayStation issues is they been working in a closed platform and a closed ecosystem where they can do anything they want and ignore pushback. PC player play on PC to get away from that. So getting people to buy a game then introducing mandatory PSN after was a bad move.

Ok well at least disabling screenshot sharing and social media friend suggestions isn't as egregious as shutting down entire studios and forcing PSN memberships on a PC game

helldivers 2 reverted their mistake with the community after an immense backlash with the PSN issue maybe we can collectively tell DGD that touring with falling in reverse is not the play 💀

But remember: PSN accounts are the issue in modern gaming, apparently.

The fact that it’s required at all is dumb, never mind the issue of PSN not being available in multiple countries so it locks out a whole part of the game to some people. Also let’s be real, this is just to obtain data they can sell like everything else on the internet nowadays.

Okay I made a deal. I said I would buy @helldivers2 if they fixed the account linking issue for the countries without PSN who would be banned if they tried to use VPN to make an account. So is anyone gonna play with me? I’m typically not big on Multiplayer games and want friends

i can't believe playstation fans are mad that sony didn't go through with the mandatory linked PSN profiles for steam helldivers 2 players 😭 like dawg, we just don't want to make another account linked to our ID/biometrics. how have they made it into a console war issue 😭

The issue with this is that you actually have to cost the company a lot of money in order for them to care, and this stuff is subsidized by hedge funds and investors. It was easy with PSN linking because no one was paying for it.

This whole #Helldivers2 drama is a lesson for @PlayStation and Sony Studios. Don't release a game that required PSN to play worldwide if you know the PSN is having an issue. Release it slowly on PSN available region while try to fix the other region issue #PlayStation
