So I sent my Switch to be assessed for repair and it's a quote of £160 for a new one. Can't decide whether to fix it, get a secondhand Lite until Switch 2 comes out, or now that I've played all the probably big Switch releases, get a Steam Deck instead and dive into indies.

@Din0Lonely @discord_support these accidentaly reported scams are pretty comonnon, maybe they account got hacked too. I got a message back in the day that they reported my steam account and it will be deleted, if I xy..... i almost got scammed

I'm such a ball of pent up anxiety, I feel like a shivering puppy when it comes to unexpected, loud, sharp sounds. Was unscrewing a steam cleaner (waited for it to cool down) and it did a loud sharp hiss at me, now I'm just on edge, trying to comfort myself.

I reported #tekken8 to steam as broken because of the matchmaking server issue (mentioned in a previous message) as it is ******** over people who are not in the US (it does not disconnect so you have 100+ ping throughout the match.) And I have herd nothing back so far go figure

Well it turns out to run Steam you need XZ Utils, which 8s problematic give the current security issues over at XZ.

Switched my steam deck to the preview update and downloaded 3.6.0 and try demon roots for a quick minute and its running pretty great now but it still has a problem of the full character portraits brightening diming with more than one one the screen being like 1 or 2 FPS

Now steam wants to fix itself … 😭
