Is Apple Store down? ❌

I bought a new iphone today at the Apple Store (Carlsbad, CA) but my cellular data was NOT transferred/(eSIM not)activated to the new phone. We spent hours at Apple & then at an AT&T store that said there’s some kind of delay/outage?! What is the estimated time of fixing this?!!

Replaced my iPhone 14 Pro battery (was down to 78% max change) at the Apple Store yesterday and it feels brand new again. Might not buy another iPhone again until we get to a new computing paradigm tbh. Replacement was free with AppleCare+ but it's only $99 otherwise.

The apple store down the street from my office had some tax paperwork accidentally sent to our address. I've spent the last 2 hours trying to call them to ask that they come get it and their phone robot keeps putting me on hold then hanging up on me. Automation is the enemy.

That other bank must decide if they want to be in the banking industry or not😭. Every other day it’s either systems are down, if the systems are not down…their app is not functioning properly or it doesn’t meet requirements from Apple Store or Google Play Store.

Since ChatGPT and Perplexity, my Google searches have gone down probably 90%. I will still use Google for instance if I want to go to like a specific section of Apple website: Apple Store iPhone But to get an answer to something, my searches have gone to basically ZERO.

OK. iOS 18 drops next week, so I figured doing some advice as a former Apple Store Mac/mobile technician might be worth doing as a PSA. 1. Back up your device. iCloud, iTunes, manually writing things down, it doesn't matter. Do it. Updates can be messy. Protect your info.
