I'd like to remind everyone all the work Apple has done, to make such a terrible 3rd party app store experience, was entirely voluntary. iOS has had app true side loading, install from Safari, since iOS 3. Just locked down. All that was actually required was turning that on.

iOS 17.4.1 seems to be one of the worst updates I’ve ever experienced as an iPhone owner. My phone crashes when trying to type on any app. When it does work, editing text (highlighting, copy, paste, etc) will cause a crash. I have plenty of storage, so that’s not the issue.
Since iOS 17.4.1 any app that uses iCloud / files app freezes when using it. It’s across the device including @Apple’s own apps (Pages won’t even open). Only fix is to reboot, giving me a short while until it freezes again. @AppleSupport any ideas? Anyone else having this issue?
