Is LastPass down? ❌

Hey @LastPassHelp. Uh, paying for this service and now it's down. What's going on?

Thanks for your patience. Our engineers have identified an update to our chrome browser extension earlier today inadvertently caused load issues on our backend infrastructure. We are engaging the issue and actively working towards a resolution.

Using generated passwords from @LastPass is great until their login service goes down and you don't know any of your passwords 🤣 I can't clock out of work

This @LastPass outage means I'm effectively locked out of most of the Web. I'm ready to churn now. Bitwarden or 1Password?

This LastPass outage is going to have me looking for alternatives. What a mess.

Hey @LastPassHelp! I got a message indicating "LastPass premium has ended" and then the error vanished. I did check my account where I have paid until next year. Is there problem with your service? My brother who's part of my families has also got the same.

Chrome extension giving lots of problems lately, When I login it immediately logs me back out and have to log in again, when I try to save a new password I get @LastPassHelp putting here for your information, I know you'll sought it out soon 💪

I've forgotten my #lastpass master password. The reset process doesn't work. Lots of people commenting on this problem. Contacted @LastPassHelp over 24 hours ago. Still not resolved. Unacceptable.

I decided to contact @LastPassHelp support, and after 4 days, I just got a canned reply, even though I did say, and supplied links for evidence I'm not the only one with issues on the new update. Useless! #lastpass #highcpu

Update: LastPass told 9to5Mac that its engineering team identified a product release as the cause of the outage. "As part of our investigation, we found an error in our release processes and have updated them accordingly."

Okay, so now that I’ve had to ditch LastPass as a password manager, I’m looking for informed opinions about Apple’s iCloud Keychain password manager. I use a MacBook Air and iPhone and Safari, so no issues of other products. Security is my primary concern.
