Is Slack down? ❌

Hey discord you’re not working and I’m trying to slack off in the back at work not cool now I gotta work

really after i move my entire team away from slack and decide to use discord, discord gets down at 9pm

Somebody should do an alternate version of ST:TNG which is just the messages being exchanged on the ship's Slack channels while all of that episode's **** is going down. I mean, you can't tell me there's no Slack for Enterprise.

My slack status in the past couple of weeks have been moving from “power outage” to “slow internet connection” Ki Olorun shanu mi.

Those reporting VPN not working in Banistan, is it only access to X or does it work poorly otherwise as well? Does work related apps such as Teams, Slack work fine?

Another day the @SlackHQ app on my Mac is not working. Falling back to the web app. IMO chatting was never so bad as of today with Slack and Teams. I want my ICQ back.

This has to be the best ict yet. Literally in pro, went to drink tea, had lunch, slack in bunk for 2 hours, went down to the garage, left after 15 min, went for tea again, and now waiting for dinner in 1.5 hours. ******* beautiful.

Peeked in on the dev team slack channel and...they've been up all night working on recovery. So while it pains me that the site is still down, they're doing all they can to avoid any data loss when it returns. 🤞

Why the **** do companies use slack when something like Discord exists? I got pinned down for not attending a meeting that I didn't know was going on in some Google Meets link. Like, WHY. WHY use 2 different services? I would see a call going on in Discord, for example. :)

Everytime Job#2 send me a slack message i afraid its to run me down about my tardiness and me ending/starting shift when i want, but no, always a message about my opinion on processes, how to optimize, script or Automate something. Being useful rocks!

I logged out yesterday with six unread slack messages. I woke up to 95 notifications, about 82 of them OnCall alerts. We're back down to six, but I need a nap 😴

The Slack UI change to hide bookmarks is one of the worst UX changes in years. Years of curating bookmarks in many channels down the drain. 😡

one time a few months ago i went to open hinge on my phone in my white icon folder and i accidentally opened slack instead and i went "aw now i'm gonna get notifications for the next month" bc my old school workspace and that's how i found out it got shut down

We're subscribed to status updates from multiple LLM providers on slack. Not a day goes by without at least one of the major providers having an outage. If you want to provide a high quality of service, there's a ton of engineering work to do behind the scenes.

Google Spaces is hands down the worst tool ever. People **** on Slack but wait till you try Spaces.
