tango gameworks situation is so bizarre that microsoft can't even explain why they shut the studio down. they closed it and then were like "we need to make more games like what tango gameworks was making"

Playing through Hi-Fi Rush has just been making me increasingly salty at Microsoft for shutting tango down, if they do try making a sequel with new devs it just wont be the same :L

Have any LaTeX users that use minted for source code snippets had a problem using a theme other than the default? Tried multiple ones now but nothing seems to change, vim, tango, fruity, etc

Sony closed down the tried and tested Japan Studio, so Tango is not in the cards.

Tango Gameworks shutting down might be the most depressing studio closure i've heard about yet. never got into The Evil Within games, but Hi-Fi Rush is an all time favorite game for me. AND they pitched a sequel to Xbox before shutting down? no wonder y'all are in last place

The game got awards and praise, but it didn't translated into engagement, sells, and the reason ppl got into the Xbox ecosystem. Tango got shut down because all of their games (The Evil Within 1 & 2, Ghostwire & Hi-Fi Rush) performed poorly in the metrics (sells & engagement).

The fact that tango gameworks released the best game xbox has had in years with Hi-fi Rush just got shut down is ******* insulting. I want more games like that, and you killed that studio just when they found their style. Good job Xbox you ******* ********.

I've contacted Sony support to refund Hifi Rush 😹😹 thankfully I bought it today and didn't touch the downloads cuz I can't play on my Ps5 right now Definitely getting the Limited Run physcial I thought it was canceled cuz Tango was shut down Guess not

Real talk - imagine, if you will, if Next-Level Games was closed down by Nintendo, despite making the highly regarded AND profitable Luigi Mansion series. That's exactly what Xbox just did to Tango Gameworks among others. I'm beyond ****** off, lol.

I've loved Game Pass, but if Game Pass is the reason a game as popular and well received as Hi-Fi Rush had its studio closed down then we need to stop supporting it now. How much more money would the game have made if we couldn't play it for free? Would Tango still exist?

Bro they shut down tango studios. Who made Hi-Fi rush. One of the best games for me. Different from most. This game was met with so much positivity. And they shut the studio down. Like wtf? Do they just have their studio names in a randomiser and close the studio it picks?
