Google fiber giving me more updates about power outages than Duke Energy

The fact that Google fiber told me about the outage before Duke energy is quite annoying

Even Google Fiber doesn't actually hit 1000 down and up as advertised. No ISP does. I guess good internet is only for Romanians and Koreans

Google fiber has to be the worst ISP I've had to deal with. Faulty equipment and terrible speeds. I got down to 1mbps just now. No help from them either.

Anyone else get random outages with @googlefiber #webpass ?

If work remotely choosing the right ISP is critical choice. As of right now in the Atlanta market @googlefiber standard notice of outages list an expectation of a 5 hour resolution of the outage. Well at 6+ hours google hasn’t arrived onsite to start any form of mitigation.

Nothing like hearing a recording about how your ISP is rated #1 for customer satisfaction by JD Powers as you're calling in to find out your service outage should be resolved in 8 HOURS. Way to go, Google Fiber!

I'm experiencing my first prolonged Google Fiber outage. I will say, customer service throughout the day from my initial call to each update from then has been good.

.@googlefiber I haven’t had internet for TWO WEEKS because of an address error on my fiber account. Every time I call for an update, I get the same response: “it’s still being worked on.” How long does it take to add an address into your system? This is getting ridiculous.

Hey @googlefiber can you please hurry up and get established in Bennington, Ne. I think you’ll have a lot @CoxHelp customers wanting to make the switch. 3rd time in one week that our internet is down!

3rd @googlefiber outage at my rental property in one week with no fix & no updates. Every hour is another reimbursement I have to fund. Please assist. Thought I was using the best network provider but seriously considering switching to your competitors.

Internet is cutting in and out, and of course, @GoogleFiber doesn't let me just report an outage, only has an outage checker which just gives me a 'Service Status is unknown.' Was playing some really good UNI tonight.

No stream today gang, Google Fiber disconnected my internet during yesterdays show instead of my neighbors. If they fix it quickly we may get one in. 🙃

Just got done speaking to a Google Fiber rep PS consoles are having issues connecting to PSN while on Google Fiber at the moment They are actively working to fix it and will send a mass email to those affected once it is resolved

20 out of the last 21 days @GetSpectrum has had outages I should switch to google fiber this is ridiculous

I am now 24 plus hours into no internet at my home. When I called @ATT on Saturday they said they earliest they could get a support tech to me was Monday. Wish my new place had @googlefiber, how I miss them. AT&T = awful terms & treatment.

⁦@googlefiber⁩ still lying an hour after being advised it’s not power outage, still claiming that’s the reason for internet outage. REPOSTING every hour that ⁦@googlefiber⁩ keeps up the bullshit.

Seriously about to cancel @googlefiber @googlefi 3rd day in a row with outages…I have assignments due and yall ain’t cheap 🙄

I would like to thank @QNTMFiber for the 2nd outage in 3 months. Glad I'm switching to Google Fiber later.

@googlefiber is literally becoming one of the worst Wi-Fi companies! Constantly interrupting my work day because of their outages and then want to credit me a few cents when I miss out on a full days pay! Any recommendations on a better Wi-Fi service?!

Actually had to go outside and touch grass since my shiternet finally got upgraded (Google fiber finally gave us a replacement router after telling us our problems arent their fault for months now) But ayo, at least I have groceries again now 🤧

Google Fiber is having a major, prolonged outage in my area, so I can say that Google killed my workday.

my Google fiber went down for the first time in 4 years of service. I thought "****, maybe they aren't perfect" **** came back on literally 10 minutes later. they'd already updated the website when I logged in and said it would be back on mometarily. I love u overlord Google

In SF, anyone cut cord w/ @Xfinity? @ end of rope w/ their service & inability to fix no access to many channels. thinking of @googlefiber for wifi provider, have @netflix & @PrimeVideo accts, need provider for live tv. How's @hulu? Are there others? Who broadcasts @warriors?

Hey @googlefiber I SUPER appreciate having no internet because YOUR contractor broke something while doing something to the neighborhood lines. And having to wait until tomorrow. I already called support. So don’t ask me to do that again.
