According to @PepcoConnect we are part of an outage affecting only 42 households. Which means we will have zero priority in getting powe back & are screwed. Electricity is a great thing when you have it!

A tornado watch has been issued for our area today, May 27, until 11 pm. Monitor local weather, news and radio for updates. If you see a downed power line, assume it is energized & dangerous. Call 911 or report outages to PEPCO at 1-877-737-2662.

CURRENT POWER OUTAGES IN DC/MD- PEPCO confirms approx. 2,000 customers in DC (NOMA & H St. corridor) and 1,800 in Hyattsville area are currently without power. Pepco is not sure why- crews are on scene. Estimated time of restoration is 10pm for DC, 8pm for MD
