I swear DC metro likes making my life harder. Why couldn't @wmata begin these shutdowns when ridership was minimal, say during the pandemic???!! It's not like they even have effective shuttles. Shutting down one of the most used lines for essentially the entire summer is a mess

Sorry Red line. Not sure how a power problem on BL/YL at a station that is only on the BL affects you. Are RL trains running every 12 min? 12 min headways are normal rush service for BL #wmata
Due to a power issue at Alexandria Yard, headways have been extended on the following lines: • Red - 8 mins • Green - 10 mins • Yellow and Blue - 20 mins We’re working to resolve this issue & apologize for the inconvenience. #wmata
.@wmata I hate to be a grump , but the shiny new escalator at Farragut North is down during rush hour . K street entrance , down escalator!

Potomac Yard bridge pictures from slow moving @VaRailExpress train #wmata @monumentalalx ???
Yellow line train south, only the front three car doors opening - no announcements being made as the train gets to each station, people sprinting down the platform trying to get on when they realize, people on the train cars unable to get off - excellent work as always @wmata
#FareJumping is still an issue at ##FtTotten @wmata @wmataGM @tomsherwood @AdamTuss

There’s an alert at the @wmata web site that their alert system is down which is some kind of DC Metro next-level irony
Does @wmata consider that their bus ridership issues are due to the unreliability of the service? There was an hour between L8 buses on Connecticut this morning. How is that usable? Like, at all?
