it's always funny when ppl get all, "omg tumblr got bought out by yahoo the site's shutting down" and "omg deviantart got bought by wix the site's shutting down" and "omg twitter got bought by elon musk the site's shutting down" and nothing happens like notice a trend?

Anyone using Wix for their website? I have to get away from Wordpress. Every two days my site is down, which is so unprofessional.

I learned today that my domain had not been working for my web site. Who knows how long it’s been down for. Thanks #wix To add it back is taking 48-hours?! I’d had it completed in 5-minutes with other web hosts. Ridiculous!

@MaroftheBooks I ended up taking down my wix site so I could reduce my internet bill. Instead, I use my wordpress blog - which I got in 2013 and costs me NOTHING. My wordpress gets a fair amount of traffic everyday too! Much more than I ever got with a traditional site.

Combination of Wix format, slow, old laptop & low grade internet means my final draft with final edits wasn't published correctly, should be published now, any errors now are on me. Yes I'm being fussy but matters to me. One day I will upgrade everything ££ 😆-on topic, I guess.

Figured out my Website problem. No amount of troubleshooting will get my Godaddy domain forward in a secure HTTPS SSL because Wix will NOT allow SSL for any domain forwarding... So I must have two websites. My hope to use pages from my main site with domain forwarding is dashed.

@wix - circular, infuriating logic for wronged customers. Your customer service system only works if you can log in, but if you disable someone's account (mine!!) then people can't log in to call or to chat or to GET HELP!!! Shame on you @wix!

Speaking of websites!! @WixStudio 👋🏽 heyyy! So!! Have a❓. On my client’s wix studio site, when I drag the line to extend one page, every gallery I have on the page shifts down with it. How can we stop that? Each time I have to shift the page then shift those back!

Has anyone ever experienced issues using the Screaming Frog service to scan a Wix site? Where it doesn’t want to scan it.

I just came across a really wierd bug... @wix causes my PC (windows 10) to go completely nuts. The keyboard randomly types and the windows swap between them also the computer makes an error noise.
