Telkom is giving its customers 1GB of data valid for two days as a token of apology for the network outage on Monday when the network operator confirmed that a temporary outage impacted its services nationwide.

Telkom has great pricing for data but they really suck. Having no internet yesterday was just a sign that I need to move. 😢

14/05 was the only time I had network coverage problems ever since I started using telkom. 1GB might not be much but atleast they did something and the service from Telkom for me, has been very solid prior to this!

All Telkom customers in South Africa have been given free 1GB data valid for 2 days as a token of apology, following network outage that was experienced on Monday. MTN, GLO and AIRTEL can never do this in Nigeria.
