Is Amazon Web Services down? ❌

I'm trying to use Llama 3 8B Instruct via AWS Bedrock (us-east-1), but it does not work (I've tried both console and API). Is there some major outage or is something wrong with my account? @awscloud @AWSSupport

AWS outage❎ Fault in our SaaS✅

Although the website is back up, users will not be able to login for the time being. We are still undergoing a transition to AWS as well as massive reworks to all parts of the application. This means we will be down for at least a few more weeks. Thank you for your patience.

Dang! Our AWS redis instance went down today. It was working smoothly for past 2 or 3 years. Going to get rid of it and use DynamoDB as others were pointing out. Replacing Redlock is going to be the tricky bit.

Why is Red Redfern claiming that AWS servers went down?? That's why the website went down?? What is wrong with these people?? Why do they make up things to make this scam look better so much?? You just don't add to the stories..it's not hard to not lie. It's harder to make it up!

Unfortunately, the website is still down and it will be that way for the next 1-2 weeks. We were fortunate enough to have all of our web server needs hosted by my some incredible people at UAlbany but it is time that we move Aguacero over to a much more stable and reliable AWS.

People monitor the APІs of the big clouds to see what is down. In addition to our test suite that tests code we also monitor for unpublished hypervisor & firmware changes the big clouds make; happens more often then you might think. Just caught and fixed an issue on AWS for this.

I deployed an #AWS #VPC and edited the settings to remove DHCP options. Then I re-enabled it. But now even after restarting my EC2 instance software updates are not working because DHCP is failing to resolve the ip address ending in .2. Is this expected behavior? Seems like a
