Rogers internet died on me 5mins before a big presentation today... Been a custy for 15 years, but have had a few big outages. This instance the 50mb/s upload is what messed with things I think. Is switching to Bell the only stable/reasonable option?

Currently tethering off of my fiancé’s phone which is on the @FreedomMobile network. @Bell_Support @TELUSsupport seem to not be sending any updates for their current outage in Oshawa. Becuase you know .. it’s Oshawa @Rogers @FreedomMobile you May be getting new customers soon.

You would think that when your home ISP goes down, you can tether off of your cellular device which is a separate company … unfortunately they do share their network traffic … time to Move on from @Bell_Support and @TELUSsupport

It’s nice to be appreciated for being a @bell customer of over 12 years, after hour on hold for tech support for having no cell data service where we live on 3 lines, tech support just asked me to switch providers instead of them problem solving. #BellSucks #BellMobility

10 a.m. UPDATE: Power Restored Power and A/C have been fully restored to SCHS and our campus is returning to normal operations. We are still on a regular 1-7 bell schedule. According to Centerpoint, the power outage was caused by lightning during the early morning storm.
