We had to pay for GCP support today to notify them that they had a gemini outage. Support response: Please buy provisioned throughput! Are they there to support their customers? Or their sales team?

someone should build an infra routing service with a unified interface for deployment + billing + failover across AWS, GCP, Azure: the "react native" for cloud infra after yesterday's AWS outage, I bet large cos would pay a hefty margin for that kind of reliability

Elon Musk probably escaped from this downtime. Now that AWS is down. We are all supposed to be running around , complaining that we can't access our X account but he didn't rely on only AWS cloud services, he is using the Google Cloud platform(GCP). Contingent plans in business
