We finally moved our infra from Azure to AWS. Not gonna lie Azure wore us down. Random SSH drops. CLI connection issues. App Service felt like a daily struggle. AWS just feels calmer. More predictable. More builder friendly.

Microsoft Azure Front Door outage from October 30th is not fully fixed yet. Support says > Please note that there is an ongoing outage which caused the issue to auto-resolve. The estimated completion for this outage is January 2026. AFD multiple regions, Tracking ID -YKYN-BWZ

Man, I just love the subsidiary failures that happen every time there's a big cloud outage I don't even use cloudflare, but somehow cloudflare being down seems to have done some amount of fuckery to various things that are on azure trafficmanager
