Is The Crew 2 down? ❌

So no offline mode coming, in other words, the servers will shutdown at some point in the future, and render the game unplayable to people that purchased it... Sounds like Ubisoft's The Crew 2.0 @Xbox @Microsoft @XboxP3

There was a power outage at @SSHSTweet knocking out the @chcotv livestream feed. The crew is working feverishly to get it back up.

Refs called a pretty fair game not gonna lie. But this was kinda egregious. As a player on the ground, pulling down another player (knowingly also off an injury) that’s terrible work out of the crew, idc who it was. If we did that I would understand a player getting F2 also

Airline data, of course! When I was an air traffic controller (2 yrs ago), most delays were caused by weather. Many delays occur also because the crew is waiting for their numbers from company or other airline related issues such as computer failures.

Video games that have a single player mode should be kept in a playable condition even once the online servers have been taken down, #thecrew was removed from peoples libraries even if they brought the physical version. #stopkillinggames

I don't know much about The Crew, but I need to stress how important LBP3's server going down is. This wasn't just one game's server closing, LittleBigPlanet 1 2, and 3 ALL shared a server. LBP3 was the last bastion for 16 years worth of UGC content access. Its VERY important.

Im happy people are staring to get ****** about The Crew’s servers going offline That was my childhood game, I was like 6 when I played it The fact you can’t even play it anymore even if you own it is BEYOND crazy. I was able to play it one last time by renting it at the library.

Ubisoft removing access to The Crew from customers who bought the game is straight up theft and highway robbery, not to mention making the game unplayable as it is. Also, now, physical copies of The Crew have ALSO been rendered useless now since the servers are shut down.

After hearing that @Ubisoft is removing The Crew from accounts, I thought I'd let it be known that there is proof it exists on my account. It may be "unplayable" b/c the servers are offline & the game checks server status when you play, but it doesn't need to...

I was really hoping that Ubisoft would release a patch for The Crew after shutting the servers down, 'cos I got 90% done with a workaround, but then ran out of energy for it, and I have more fun things to do. SIGH

Ubisoft is revoking player licences for The Crew after permanently shutting down the game's servers. Reminder that anything you buy digitally is not a real ownership. 🙃

I saw on Reddit that Ubisoft was revoking licensed to The Crew in their launcher. So I opened the launcher and got greeted to The™ Most™ *******™ Pathetic™ error message ever. I'm wheezing.

It seems Ubisoft will do literally anything to prevent players from unlocking this ‘offline mode’ in The Crew 1 after the servers got shut down…

Does the crew or team make a property worse before they film #HomesUnderTheHammer ? I’ve seen loads of episode where it looks like they have “manufactured” issues to look worse.
