In Richmond, Virginia, I made an ATM deposit this morning, I entered the cash, then the ATM was stalling, then it displayed system issues. However, the ATM did not return my money, and did not provide a deposit receipt, then displayed on the screen that it had "stored" my data. When I re-scanned my debit card, and did a balance check, this time the ATM provided a balance receipt, and my $600 deposit was not on the receipt. If they refuse to credit my account, I will call the FDIC and the State Corporation Commission. I have bills to pay and I am not sure if they are closed on Monday for Columbus day. There was no prior warning, before I deposited that money, that they were having an issue. If so, I would have deposited in my other bank account.

I would call and report it to customer services immediately. They will do a count at the atm to resolve the issue

Did you call customer service? They are going to have to physically count the money in the ATM. Based on what you said and the system being down the ATM didn't record your deposit.

Customer service is not available on Sundays, so I called their fraud department, which is available today, and I entered a claim, this "situation" occurred at the Lakeside Branch in Richmond , Virginia. It totally has inconvenienced me, as I am not able to pay bills that are due. Lastly, I was disappointed that they were unwilling to credit my account, considering that their atm should have been shut down, and not allowed for money to be deposited.
