Is Duke Energy down? ❌

As we go through yet another power outage in parts of Charlotte, the @DukeEnergy operator tells me I can keep up with information on my computer. Uh, cupcake…our power is out….what computer

We appreciate patience of customers as our lineworkers have responded to thousands of individual outages. It’s hands-on work and it’s time-consuming and we appreciate also the many hours they have put in over the last two days. @DukeEnergy

The electricity was out for 26 and 1/2 hours. I'm impressed that @DukeEnergy got my power back on already. West of Charlotte had a tornado. The problem in my area was the strong winds that caused trees and limbs falling.

I-75 is still shut down in both directions in Monroe after OSHP said a lightning strike led to downed power lines. A spokesperson for Duke Energy said the goal is to have the road reopened by midnight.

Multiple power outages Monday morning are affecting more than 1,500 Duke Energy customers.

Duke Energy, one of the largest energy providers across Greater Cincinnati, helps residents prepare for storms in case they experience an extended power outage.

Currently, there is a power outage along the section of 30E Cape San Blas, FL where Cone Heads 8020 is located. Once power is restored, Cone Heads 8020 will be able to open. The power outage could be due to a house being moved. @DukeEnergy

Well, @DukeEnergy , so much for hardening the grid. I have more outages than a 3rd world country. How much longer this time?
