Is Mediacom down? ❌

Mediacom has an Internet outage in Des Moines’ Beaverdale neighborhood.

Mediacom needs to get it's 💩 together. I'm hearing that the entire city is down for Internet. I rarely lost Internet in the country with Louisa Communication even in a blizzard. I sure wish it was available here because I would definitely be switching to it

Mediacom is currently experiencing an outage in our area. This has impacted Columbus Community Schools phone lines. Mediacom expects this issue to be resolved this afternoon. Until this issue is resolved we cannot make or receive calls to our building and business numbers.

Mediacom sent out a tech and they seemed to get stuff working normally again. Even put in a maintenance order for our tap. So apparently lasts weeks area wide outage might have borked more than even I thought.

Almost one full week for @mediacom, I was pulling for you. Just received the weekly outage text.

Received my weekly if not biweekly text from @Mediacom stating once again there is an outage in my area. Mediacom is actually that bad!!

The amount of times Mediacom Internet has gone down or has just plain sucked in the last two-ish months is astronomical. Just absolutely ridiculous. What gives?? @MediacomSupport

Grown so used to my reliable internet provider (Metronet) that it’s absolutely devastating when there is a rare outage. Still miles better than the outage-every-single-day Mediacom though. And at least my nearest work office is hundreds of miles away, so I’m not expected to go in

Hey @MediacomSupport , Your service went down for 16 hours. Since then we've all been losing internet every 20 minutes and having to reboot our modems to come back online manually. Next tech appt is 8 DAYS AWAY. Get it fixed, this is unacceptable.

Internet is a crucial service these days. Providers should build in redundancy in their networks but #mediacom evidently doesn’t as I have been down for 2 + hours. #**** company.

Just connected my Metronet line... getting 500 down and upload speeds... Yup.. I was correct, my pc was running slowly due to internet. Idk if it was due to mediacom or the 100 up and 15 down. Im guessing more to do with speeds.... everything requiring internet is a disease..

Another down @MediacomSupport just can't let me have an hour of service can they. At least the library is still open I can finish up my work there.

Why do I need to log in to an account to see an outage map mediacom? How does that make any sense?

1:10 am internet down. currently 1:19 am. If it rolls over to 2 am before the internet returns im billing mediacom for my lost work hour.

CenturyLink can't send a tech until Saturday night to fix our Internet outage. Today is Thursday. If I had any option other than Mediacom, which is worse, I would take it. This is a sad state of affairs.

Hey @MediacomSupport @MediacomCable, a simple “yea there’s an outage and we’re aware of it” message would be nice. “Molli” needs some enhancement work done because waiting for a support analyst for 6 hours isn’t going to fly. #mediacomoutage

New(refurbished) modem and my internet is down again. Is it the modem or is it Mediacom? Who knows! They'll be out to look at it Tuesday. Lucky me.
