So this morning I was lamenting that NYSEG is keeping us in the dark about what is causing the current power outage...I seriously didn't mean for it to be a joke, but hubby was laughing...

Good morning, A power line is down on Bennett State Road and has caused a power outage in the district. Our generators are running, and we have been advised by NYSEG that power will be restored shortly after 9:00 AM. School is in session as normally scheduled.

Oh fun, a power outage affecting 82 customers, including me. Power went out about 15 minutes ago, according to the device notifications. NYSEG estimates restoring by 9am.

There is a power outage in Circle Apartments, with @NYSEandG still trying to determine the estimated restoration time, according to an email sent to residents. According to the outage list, about 203 people are without power.

Multiple reports of trees down, including Route 96 in Danby and McLallen and Washington Streets in Trumansburg, and power outages. NYSEG is not yet reporting these outages or estimated restore times. Remember to treat any intersections with traffic lights out as an ALL WAY STOP.
