Dang it, Verizon! This whole Fios internet outage thing is a real bummer. My work keeps gettin' all messed up cuz I can't even check emails or nothin'. Hope they get this fixed soon, gotta catch up on some orders and stuff. Maybe we should all go for a run after this to blow

So I finally have Internet access again. The incredible timing of a big east coast outage with FIOS, and my in-house fiber cabling or transceiver going bad at exactly the same time, made this much harder to debug than it should have been.

Verizon Fios is trending after a major outage hit millions on the East Coast, causing frustration and prompting an FCC investigation. Service is back, but users are still on edge.

Fios’ DMV outage earlier this morning taught me the importance of owning physical forms of media. I do not have 1 VHS tape, DVD or anything that I could’ve put on while the outage occurred. Also, w/o wifi, it left me with no modern/current video games cuz my PSN wouldn’t load.

I hope my Verizon fios bill is cheaper considering that we had an outage last night 😭 that was insane

The @Verizon FiOS network has been down for nearly two hours and neither they nor @VerizonSupport have posted anything. 🙃

So. Massive widespread Fios internet outage with no acknowledgment from Verizon. It’s been over an hour. They don’t seem to be acknowledging anyone. It’s mainly the east coast/DMV area. It’s a little concerning.
