Powerful example of Decentralization this week. T-Mobile went down in large portions of Utah. Lost my cell coverage as well as home internet. Just switched my cell phone to Verizon network. Still waiting for a @Starlink phone. @elonmusk

A few days ago, my phone had no network in Manhattan cos of a temporary Verizon outage. So I connected to a LINK WiFi to call wife over signal about dinner plans. Since then, I've realized that Manhattan is basically free Wi-Fi Island! Cos my phone keeps catching it everywhere!

We’re in the middle of a four day cell service outage from @Verizon . I just got off the phone with cust service and the fact that they “don’t know” why there is an outage is concerning. Also, offering $20 for 4 days without service is wrong. I pay $6 a day for the privilege.

Several people at work are getting an outage for #Verizon . Seems similar to what happend around the end of September. Lots are getting an SOS symbol. Calls and texts failing.
