I'm curious why Heroku's `pg:upgrade` has gone from taking 5 minutes of downtime back in the day, to 10 minutes in 2020, to 30 minutes from 2021 on. That's kind of a crazy amount of downtime to be starring down the barrel of.

Whats your goto platform to host your web app? Trying to narrow down one for a quick non-prod setup. Any free plan works but trying to choose one in terms of ease of setup and DX. Digital Ocean? Koyeb? Flyio? Heroku?

I’m having issues pushing my spring boot project to heroku, I keep getting an error related to “—release”, I have the run time specifically set in my properties, I’m just not sure what the issue could be. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

This error on the @dwavequantum site reminds me of the old days of sending ghost pings to my app on Heroku to keep it active. #quantumcomputing

I’m currently (after day job of course) working on a simple load balancer for tokenplace, so that if my internet or power goes down I can fail over to a running in the cloud (for now I’m going for a barebones heroku setup for that backup server)
