My first major complaint with @Starlink - they pushed a software update at 0300 est and completely shut down the Satellite. Now, they can’t get a new dish out here for 7+ days. What type of catastrophic software updates did you do that can’t be rolled back? This is a disaster

#Foxtel Was reading that Foxtel is downgrading Satellite services in parts of Australia. Yeah. Regional Areas. Basically trying to get us to go via Internet, instead of Satellite Dish. Ridiculous. Internet signals in Remote locations are not as good as down South/large cities.

I want a skz code episode where they get into teams and have to try and cook a dish from another ethnic / country and they have to actually work together to not burn a kitchen down

My dish Network really frustrates me To get Netflix to work every 2 or 3 times I have to restart which takes a long time and get complaints people in my house. Their TV shuts down when I reset my Hopper, then it wants to reset the password & redo web connection. Plus signal loss

I live in a rural area. We had awful satellite internet for years - HughesNet and Dish Network were the companies. Very slow and completely unusable for modern applications due to ridiculous latency. Then 8 years ago, we got microwave relay service - 10 down/1 up. But unreliable

BTW, an epiphany I had about 3D printer bed adhesion is that wettability is a really good proxy. If, when you’re washing down your removable build surface, the water beads up, then you’re likely to have poor adhesion on the first layer. Clean it with dish soap until it wets.

oh motherf*cker. i needed a few more feet of cable for starlink. and it drops the connection speed of the ethernet connector to 100mbit. which is slower than the speed of my starlink service usually. i am going to have to move my dish. maybe cut down some trees and go back
