Centurylink problems date back to Northwestern Bell. They installed copper wire with paper insulation which got wet last year and shorted out. Cause phone or internet fails. They blame widespread outage OR your premises wiring, they make money that way. Check on Tmobile ISP.

Canadian telecom is garbage. Two days Bell outage now and all @Bell outage tracker can say is "under investigation" but that a network cable is cut. Luckily, my cell service is not with Bell so I'm not totally incommunicado. @Bell_LetsTalk about bad internet service.

Always same w/ @Bell support. Internet not working: inexperienced agent tells you modem is broken and must replace at store. I know that's not true, so I call again: better agent fixes problem. Has happened 3 times in past 2 years. What is up? Seems to be an intentional logic.
