Is Steam down? ❌

I feel if I buy a game on steam it should be launched from steam, EA, and Microsoft are just as big an issue as Sony in this case, it only makes its customers more vulnerable for the sake of selling data to advertisers or advertising games most people won’t be interested in.

That’s the only reason this is an issue. PC gamers have dozens of accounts linked. Steam, XBL and every app on their phones have been hacked multiple times. The account is free and Sony reps have told people to create accounts in working regions if they live in a dead zone.

So tonight's stream was going to be a Helldivers 2 stream but with the whole issue of needing a PSN account, I will not be playing it until a better solution has been found to allow ALL steam players to play WITHOUT needing a PSN account. So tonight we will be playing some OW2

It’s crazy how much Sony has **** the bed with this Helldivers 2 PC/PSN debacle. All that good will evaporated instantly and the amount of returns on Steam will be astronomical. Sony continues to be the king of ignorant, ***-backwards thinking, and unforced errors.

I feel one of the issue with digital only games is that I forget I own them I have so many Steam games but I couldn't even tell 10% of which games I own own

Once you have your Steam Deck offline for about a week or two the single player games with DRM really start getting upset.

Seriously contemplating if I should get a steam deck so I’d actually sit down and play my steam games. As it is I don’t like spending too much free time in the home office where work and would like the option to play those games on the couch while my partner plays switch

My only beef with Helldivers 2 is that sometimes it logs my steam into offline mode. it was constant enough for me to uninstall it. I hope whatever that is gets fixed in the future but for now, no.

Okay upon further research I had no idea how many countries PSN was not available. Did not seem like an issue to me initially because Sony is a much bigger company than Steam. It seems insane to me Steam is available in places PSN isn't, but apparently that's the reality.

Hey @ArrowheadGS I bought the game on Steam because I wanted to have as little interaction with Playstation guff as possible. Maybe consider that just because everyone else does it doesn't mean we like it. While we're at it, let's have a discussion about that anticheat.

HOLY **** I have gotten all the utilities of Viva NV to work on Steam deck. Finally. It takes so much ******* with it but it works and has 0 issues. Now into putting actual mods in lol

The only issue I see with Sony and Arrowhead requiring players on Steam to link a PSN account in order to play Helldivers 2 is PSN only being available in 69 countries. I have a good feeling this’ll be addressed. Other than that, most just like to complain.

There was a glitch on Steam that showed me that recent review are mostly positive, but all reviews are mixed Idk how, but it's wierd
