120 mile an hour winds yesterday here in Anchorage, Alaska. The power just came back on but the internet (GCI) appears to be down all the way to Seward. No info at all from the internet provider on when it will be resolved. Actually, no news from them at all. 😞 playing tech

I’ve actually had GCI comp me a day of internet to make up for an outage. Just had to call, make it thru hold music and ask customer service nicely.

Finally called GCI about the internet outage and now doing the online tech support thing. The customer service agent (while VERY nice) was in the Philippines, not American based. An ADN article referenced GCI's sale to Liberty Broadband & call service reconciliation.
