Starlink is now requesting NIN verification with nimc and photo capture if you reside in Nigeria …else it’s deactivation. Issue is nimc servers go down every day

My internet provider has been down 4 days over the past week and is unable to give me a reason as to why. They figured a $15 credit would make up for the work lost! What a joke! @Starlink here I come!

Six hour @Delta flight and they just announced wifi is down 😩. Perhaps @Starlink would’ve been a better option!

It’s not always about ROI. Sometimes you just want or need to ensure everything stays powered on during multi-day grid outages. keeps critical comms online, home HVAC can work, losing a couple fridges of food would be a PITA, use starlink when cable internet is down, etc.

It wouldn’t hurt to be prepared if networks go down or the power. Starlink obviously would be helpful.

Hi @ElonMusk, is @Starlink available in #Tanzania? There is an INTERNET BLACKOUT following service outage at the ISP level. Tanzanians cannot access internet via their local ISPs!!! Internet access should be a human rights issue. HUMANITY FIRST, DEMOCRACY FIRST.

So I was considering of getting @Starlink then I found out that they're connected with @ExperienceCNVRG here in my country which is also my current ISP that has been on an "outage" for 20 days now, so....**** FKING NAH!

Landscapers cut my AT&T fiber line. There has been an outage in my area forever and they can't send a technician until it clears. AT&T policy. Going to switch to Starlink. What do I need to know? Is it really as easy as ordering online? Seems too good to be true. @Starlink

AWS ( Amazon web services) still being down is a great example of a single point of failure as Venmo is discovering! Does Musk starlink have this ? Satellites r good it seems !

Starlink outage: widespread reports of disconnects/slowdowns. SpaceX says it’s investigating and working to restore stability; some requests may be throttled until fully fixed. Reboot terminals and check the status page.

Amazon outage is more of a reason to buy @Starlink

Spent an hour talking to my Internet company to find out it's service is down in my area and it may be down for a couple days. They are too expensive to have such horrible service. I do have a StarLink mini that I have in standby mode. It get's you barely enough internet to do

Starlink is going to completely replace the global ISP market. My internet at home had an outage due to a geography issue.. by the time I ordered, received and personally installed Starlink successfully, my ISP was still diagnosing the issue. All in < 24 hours.
